Next-level Technology
Complementing an IMU-enhanced electronics package, the Ninja 1000SX is equipped with integrated Riding Modes, and 4.3” all-digital TFT colour instrumentation with smartphone connectivity.
Kawasaki Cornering Management Function
Using the latest evolution of Kawasaki’s advanced modelling software and feedback from a compact IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), KCMF monitors engine and chassis parameters throughout the corner – from entry, through the apex, to corner exit – modulating brake force and engine power to facilitate smooth transition from acceleration to braking and back again.
Kawasaki TRaction Control
Three modes cover a wide range of riding conditions, offering either enhanced sport riding performance or the peace of mind under certain conditions to negotiate low-traction surfaces with confidence.
Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System
Kawasaki’s supersport-grade brake management system uses high-precision control to regulate brake pressure during sporty riding. KIBS also incorporates corner braking management, modulating brake force to assist riders in holding their intended line through the corner.
A Mode for Every Road
Integrated riding modes link Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) and Power Modes to offer varying traction control and power delivery settings to suit different riding conditions. Sport mode enables sporty riding for winding roads. Road mode offers comfortable riding over a wide range of conditions. Rain mode delivers reassurance over wet surfaces. Rider (manual) mode lets you set each system independently.
TFT Colour Instrumentation
The compact 4.3” all-digital TFT (thin-film transistor) colour instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech appearance. The screen’s background colour is selectable (black or white), and screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available light.
Get Connected
A Bluetooth chip built into the instrument panel enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Using the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.*RIDEOLOGY THE APP is not intended for use during vehicle operation. Only use RIDEOLOGY THE APP when the vehicle is not being operated and it is safe to do so.
